Who We Are

CMA was founded in 1992 in greater Portland, Maine. The early years focused on career transition support, search, and assessments. As client needs grew, the firm expanded into outplacement, executive search, HR consulting, compensation, leadership development, and organizational support.

Today CMA works with organizations across New England and expanding beyond. Our role is simple. When the people side of the business becomes unclear, sensitive, or high-stakes, we help leaders sort it out with steady judgment and practical guidance.
